How to download the Birò Share app?

Birò Share app is available for Apple and Android devices. You can find it in the App Store or Google Play Store and proceed with the download.


How can I subscribe and create a profile?

Signing up for the service is easy and free. After downloading the App, simply fill in the required data.

Once you accessed to the map, make sure you’ve uploaded:


– Valid driving license and a selfie

– Valid ID (ID card or passport)

– Valid payment method (credit card)


Once your profile is approved, you are ready to use Birò Share! 


Do I need to upload my documents to Birò Share?

Yes, you need to register your driving license, an identity document and a valid payment method.


The application does not recognise my e-mail, what can I do?

The e-mail address you have given is probably already linked to an existing account. Try using a different e-mail address, If the problem persists, please contact customer support on the emergency number provided in the vehicle.


I cannot complete my registration, what can I do?

Please make sure that you have followed the procedure and filled in the correct data. If the problem persists, please contact customer support on the emergency number provided in the vehicle.


Can I edit my profile?

Yes, you can update your personal data, documents and payment method at any time in the personal area of the Birò Share App.





Can I take a passenger on a Birò?

Yes, Birò is certified to carry two people.


What should I do in case of an accident?

If you are involved in an accident, contact the service centre immediately using the telephone number provided inside the vehicle and the competent authorities.


How old do I have to be to use Birò through Birò Share?

The service is intended for individuals aged 18 years or older, in possession of a driving license that has been valid for at least two years.


Can children be passengers on Birò?

Of course! Children who are smaller than 150cm must be secured in a child safety seat appropriate to their weight. Contact your local authority for motor vehicles for specific requirements, as this might vary among countries. If the child safety seat can be placed in the Birò, then it is possible to transport a child or a child car seat.



How to use


How do I start a trip?

To start a trip open the Birò Share App.

Search on the map for the nearest Birò and, once located, click on the “scan to start” button. Scan the QR code on the windscreen of the vehicle with your smartphone and start the trip.


Before setting off, be sure to report any damage to your vehicle.

Check the remaining range and be sure it is enough for your route.


How do I use Birò?

– If Birò’s doors are locked, scan the QR code on the windscreen to unlock. Now Birò is on.
– If there aren’t doors on Birò just scan the QR code on the windscreen to turn it on.
– To start the trip simply get on board, keep your foot on the brake pedal and release the handbrake lever.
– To engage reverse, turn the black and white selector switch on the right of the steering wheel to position R. For forward gear, turn the selector to position D.


Do I need the keys to turn on Birò?

No, Birò does not need physical keys to be opened or turned on. Through the Birò Share app, you can unlock the doors and start the vehicle.


Can I book Birò?

Yes, you can reserve Birò for a maximum of 5 minutes. During this time, the vehicle will be reserved for you and will not be available to other users. 

You can cancel the reservation by pressing the X button.


How do I unlock the doors?

The trunk and driver’s door of Birò are unlocked when you scan the QR code on the windscreen. 

The passenger door can only be opened from the inside.


How can I report if Birò is damaged or out of order?

After pressing the Birò icon on the map, press the “spanner” icon. Here you can indicate the area affected by the damage, add comments and attach pictures.

You can also indicate damage during or after the journey.


Where can I drive my Birò?

You can drive Birò wherever light electric quadricycles are allowed, but always within the service’s operating zone. 

To check the operating zone, please consult the map.


Can I pause a trip for a break?

Yes, it is possible to pause a trip. On the map, click on the “Park button” and then “Pause journey” button. Remember to always pull the handbrake whenever you make a stop.

It is not possible to pause a journey in areas not covered by telephone or GPS signal.


How can I end a trip?

Remember to park in the operational areas indicated on the map, where it is allowed.


Once you have parked your Birò, remember to:

– Pull the handbrake

– Get out of the vehicle

– Close the doors (if present)

– Click on the “Park” button and then “End the journey” button

– Take a photo of the parked Birò


If you are unable to close the trip, make sure you are within the operating area and telephone coverage is present. If the problem persists, contact assistance by calling the emergency number located inside the vehicle.


It is not possible to end the journey in areas not covered by telephone or GPS signal. 


What is the range of Birò?

After being fully charged Birò has a range of about 100 km. 

At any time, you can check the percentage of remaining battery autonomy from the App or from the central display of the vehicle. 

Always check the remaining autonomy and assess whether it is sufficient for the route you want to take.


What load capacity does Birò have?

The maximum load capacity supported by Birò is 250 kg. The maximum weight that can be loaded into the boot is 100 kg, while the rear boot flap has a maximum capacity of 20 kg.



Costs and Promotions


How much does Birò Share cost?

The cost of the service varies depending on the city. To check, visit the “Prices” section in the App.


How can I pay for my ride?

To use the service, you need to insert a valid payment method. Birò Share will withdraw the amount needed to pay the cost of the ride.


Who pays the fines?

Fines will be charged to the customer who rented the Birò at the time of the infraction committed. In addition, additional costs may be charged for handling the fine by Birò Share.


What are the packages and how are they purchased?

Minute packages allow you to pre-purchase a defined amount of minutes. You can purchase the packages directly from the Birò Share app, by visiting the Shop section.

At the time of purchase, the cost of the package will be deducted from the payment method you have associated with your profile. Minutes will begin to be counted from the time you receive confirmation of package purchase.


You can always check the packages you have purchased by clicking the “My Purchases” button in the “Shop” app section.


How do I redeem a coupon?

You can redeem discount coupons directly from the app. In the “Free Trips” section, enter the code and activate the coupon to redeem it and enjoy the promotion. 

Once the coupon’s validity has expired, the service’s base rates will apply.
